Four hours a week adds up fast
MYOB surveyed more than 1,000 decision-makers in mid-sized businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Businesses with 50–99 employees reported saving an average of four hours per employee per week through AI-assisted work, nearly double the savings reported by smaller mid-sized businesses.
For a business of 75 people, that’s 300 hours saved every single week. Many businesses say that capacity is being redirected into higher-value work, and it’s flowing through to improvements in revenue and profit.
The businesses getting the most from AI have one thing in common: their AI has access to connected, accurate business data. Without the right systems, AI remains a standalone productivity tool that saves a few minutes here and there.
