MYOB Acumatica Key New Features

These are the top features we think you’ll love the most, but there are so many more great improvements in this release. For a comprehensive list of new features, see the full release notes

Gives users a single, chronological view of all interactions and updates related to a customer, lead or opportunity, making it easier to track activity without jumping between screens. By bringing emails, tasks, appointments and other CRM actions into one consolidated timeline, teams can quickly understand the full history of a relationship, improve collaboration and stay on top of follow-ups

The new Anomaly Detection for Generic Inquiries feature uses AI to automatically identify unusual patterns and outliers across any Generic Inquiry, helping businesses detect potential issues before they become larger problems. By comparing current data against historical trends, it can flag unexpected values, transactions or variances, giving finance teams greater visibility, reducing manual review effort and supporting more proactive decision-making.

The new Manufacturing Departments feature lets businesses group multiple work centres into higher-level departments, making production operations easier to organise and manage. This provides better visibility into manufacturing performance, simplifies reporting across related work centres, and helps teams analyse capacity and efficiency at a departmental level rather than tracking each work centre individually.

The new Enhanced Project Document Management feature gives project teams greater control over how files are organised, accessed and managed within MYOB Advanced. With improved tagging, centralised file management, version control and document search capabilities, teams can more easily locate project information, improve collaboration, and maintain better governance of critical project documentation

The new Streamlined Change Order Workflow simplifies how project and construction teams manage scope changes, making it easier to create, track and approve change orders throughout a project lifecycle. By reducing administrative effort and improving visibility over approvals and documentation, the feature helps teams respond to changes faster, maintain project control, and keep budgets and timelines aligned.

The new Quantity and Unit Rate Cost Projections feature improves project forecasting by allowing cost projections to be based on the remaining quantity of work and projected unit rates, rather than cost alone. This gives project teams a more accurate view of future costs, helps identify potential budget overruns earlier, and supports better financial planning and margin control throughout the project lifecycle.

The new Mobile Clock In feature allows employees to clock in and out directly from the mobile app, making time capture faster and more convenient for teams working on-site, in the field or remotely. By recording work hours in real time, it helps improve timesheet accuracy, reduces manual data entry, and gives managers better visibility into workforce activity and attendance.
