MYOB surveyed more than 1,000 decision-makers in mid-sized businesses across Australia and New Zealand. Among the most advanced businesses, 92% report a positive productivity impact from AI. Among those at the start of their journey, it’s just 37%, a 55-point gap.
The leaders aren’t simply using more AI tools. They’ve built the foundations underneath them: integrated systems and ERP, clean and connected data, clear AI governance and a skilled workforce. As a result, they’re seeing gains in output quality, revenue and profitability, not just time saved.
