From 16 July 2024, ‘MYOB Advanced’ will be officially rebranded as ‘MYOB Acumatica’. This name change reflects the strong and long-standing partnership between MYOB and Acumatica, the global leader in cloud ERP solution that powers MYOB Acumatica.

MYOB have had a strategic partnership with Acumatica for over 10 years and are their largest OEM partner worldwide.

Acumatica and MYOB joined forces in 2013 to provide Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) businesses with a powerful and intuitive cloud ERP. This partnership led to the introduction of Acumatica in ANZ under the brand name of MYOB Advanced.

MYOB localised the Acumatica ERP solution to fit the needs of the ANZ market. This included meeting compliance standards, tax rates, GST and other legislated reporting, as well as developing a tailored payroll solution.

Today, MYOB continues to leverage the robust architecture of the state-of-the-art Acumatica ERP platform and now the partnership expands.

The rebrand is the next step in cementing the MYOB & Acumatica partnership. It underscores a commitment to providing world-class technology, combining MYOB’s local market expertise with Acumatica’s cutting-edge cloud ERP functionality.

Not only does the rebrand signify the strong partnership between MYOB & Acumatica. This move is designed to provide businesses with a more powerful and comprehensive solution, combining the strengths of both companies to drive efficiency, growth, and innovation.

What the rebrand means for your business

In the MYOB Advanced Spring Release, rolling out this September, you’ll start to see the MYOB Acumatica name appear in-product.

There will be no functionality changes to the platform, nor pricing or user licences.

The change is purely the name of the product, MYOB Advanced to MYOB Acumatica.
