User must have Administrator access on to perform the following procedure. For the spell check function to work, the following files must be present in the System32 or SysWOW64 folder on each computer.
- AMERICAN.VTD
- MFCANS32.DLL
- msvcrt20.dll
- OC30.DLL
- VSPELL32.DLL
- VSPELL32.OCX

Step 1 – Check the Operating System Version
Determine if the version of Windows is 32 bit or 64 bit by right clicking My Computer or Computer on the desktop or start menu then left click Properties from the pop up menu.
Check the System Type as in the following screenshot.
Step 2 – Copy Files to System Folder
Extract the contents of the Spell zip file to the following folder;
32 bit Operating System – C:WindowsSystem32
64 bit Operating System – C:WindowsSysWOW64
If you receive a message informing you that the files already exist, choose not to overwrite them unless the existing files are significantly older.
Step 3 – Register the VSPELL.OCX File
The VSPELL32.OCX file will now need to be registered. Right click the Command Prompt shortcut (located under Start, All Programs, Accessories) and right click Run as administrator from the pop up menu.
At the Command Prompt type;
32 bit system – RegSvr32 C:WindowsSystem32vspell32.ocx
64 bit system – RegSvr32 C:WindowsSysWOW64vspell32.ocx
A pop up message will confirm success of the file registration.
Step4–OpenanExoJobtoTest
Open an existing job in Exo Job Costing, right click in the description window and the following pop up window will appear, left click the Spell check menu item.
